Worth the high price

I grew up watching the Warriors since the Hardaway and Mullin days, now that they have reached so much success it is a treat to watch this ball club live and in-person. The tickets are a high price to pay but I get it everybody is excited during the winning times therefore seats get filled up. View was pretty good from the “cheap” seats, i can generally see what was going on. It’s beautiful to witness these guys play, probably the best team ever assembled on the court. There was good entertainment between the breaks: breaking dancing dudes, shirt tossing, kiss cams, goofy dance cams, and half-time performance by Mr Forty Water (E-40). The only thing keeping me from 5 stars was the food at Oracle, I ate a pulled pork and a beer for $28. My wife and kids had cheeseburgers and fries, not sure what we paid for those. The price to taste ratio was way imbalanced. I would say eat a hearty meal in Emeryville before going to Oracle, and fill up on beer at oracle.

Fans Unappreciated

October 5 2019 GSW vs Lakers was the season premier game at the new Chase Center. Good news: seats are more comfortable and there are improved food options. The Warriors are developing a rhythm with new team members, totally to be expected. Bad news: the seat pricing scheme has removed the average fan who simply put is not rich. Some seats in sections starting in the 100's are really the old 200's so you are paying more for a higher seat. For the opening game the half time show was abysmal. No money wasted on serious talent. Fans left without an inaugural gift for the season game debut. A towel, t-shirt or small chase replica were glaringly absent. I felt under unappreciated.
